Metal lamp that when on, has crackle sound & light comes on & off. Not safe to use. Requires re wiring? Table lamp. Also a floor lamp from 60's. It crackles when on too. Re wiring? - Due date: Flexible
Mel is a real gentleman. Collected my 2 lamps that required rewiring within an hour or two. They were dropped off to me in less than 24 hours. Our standing lamp fell over and the bulb socket has detached from the top. As you can see from the pictures below, the socket can be refitted but will require the wire to be fed through the base of the bulb socket before it can be reattached. Should be a relatively easy job for someone with the correct tools.
Mel was incredibly professional and completed my lamp repair very quickly. Would highly recommend
