You will see the wall there and that space accommodates a cupboard in the bedroom next to the kitchen.I want to install a cooktop and an exhaust in the kitchen, install storage cabins above cook top level, and relocate the bedroom cupboard which is next to the kitchen.

Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or kitchen installer to help me install a U-shaped kitchen layout. To save time, I am assembling all the IKEA cabinet carcasses myself, so the main job will be getting everything beautifully leveled, mounted, and finished on the walls. The kitchen was planned by a professional designer (Alex at Burra Design) using an IKEA Metod base paired with custom plywood doors and fillers from So Watt in Sydney. It’s a great design, and we have the full design link ready to share. Alex is also happy to jump on a quick phone call if we need to clarify any layout details together A few project details to help with your quote: • Wall Mounting: The IKEA suspension rails will need to go up on a mix of rendered brick and drywall. • Leveling: The walls aren't perfectly straight, so they will just need some packing/shimming behind the rails to get everything sitting flush and laser-level. • Finishing Touches: There are some custom So Watt filler panels and headboards that will need to be neatly trimmed or scribed to fit the lines of the walls and ceiling. • Services: I already have my own electrician and plumber sorted and ready to go, so this is strictly for the cabinetry installation side of things. Date to be confirmed but before end of June (Asbestos is being stripped and new walls installed so waiting confirmation of this being completed before booking date) Inclusive of below: - Assembly of all cabinetry and components . Assess walls and floor and accommodate possible flooring variations for levels for aligned cabinetry including island bench. - Cut out of bench top for sink and stove top (measurements provided) and installation bench top (benchtop is laminate) - Insert integrated dishwasher (plumber organised already for connection) - Install filler pieces - Use silicone where required for seamless finish. Notes: - Asbestos completely removed before job will begin - Electrician and Plumber have been organised separately - Rubbish removal not required - photos attached don’t include a stove top as this wasn’t purchased from ikea. Standard cut out still required
