Find a professional Italian tutor in SA

I'm looking for a one-on-one Italian tutor for regular face-to-face lessons, preferably in the Glenelg/Western suburbs area. I'm an adult learner who has done beginner courses at WEA but feel that one-on-one suits my style better. I learnt Thai this way and I can still speak Thai now. My main goal is to become comfortable speaking and understanding everyday Italian, rather than studying Italian for an exam. I'm not planning on debating Italian politics with Italians when I'm in Italy! What I'm looking for: Available during the day Experience teaching Italian to adults Face-to-face lessons, preferably around Glenelg / western suburbs Approximately 1 hour per week, ongoing Beginner level — I'm happy to start from the basics again Strong emphasis on conversation, listening and pronunciation Practical Italian that I can actually use while travelling in Italy Grammar is important, but I'd prefer it to be taught in the context of speaking rather than as a purely academic exercise Someone patient and encouraging who will correct my mistakes and help me improve naturally. Homework is expected! I'd particularly like to learn the sort of Italian useful for restaurants, hotels, travelling, shopping, meeting people and having everyday conversations. I'm happy to discuss the exact approach with the tutor and would prefer to have a short introductory lesson to make sure we're a good fit. Budget: around $40–50 per hour. I'm looking for someone for the long term, not just a few lessons.
