I need a person with basic mechanic knowledge (it doesn’t need to be a professional mechanic),for exmple the person can only be a junior mechanic who can help with my Hyundai Getz Clutch. (Car Plate: UVV 343 Victoria State: VIC). It doesn’t work and can’t move the car. I’m in Sydney CBD. My mechanic is now in Brisbane and comes back in around 2 months, so he can’t help me now. However, he did an assessment by phone and video call in the car and according to him the issue is: it’s your slave cylinder, there’s no pressure there to allow the clutch to disengage. so you need to replace the slave cylinder and bleed the clutch system to bring back pressure. total cost for this should be around $300-$320. Have taken my car to a mechanic who has quoted me a price on replacing the engine due to a cracked piston. The price seems outrageous and was wondering if there was any other option or if I could get some quotes.

I need to change the cluch of my hyundai I30 2009 before to travel on Monday.

I had an accident recently with my Hyundai i30 2014. While I have a comprehensive car insurance, the repair centre couldn't provide a repair for me. The insurer asked me to do cash repair instead and reimburse my expenses. The front bumper of the car is damaged and also its beam light as well as scratches on the headlight as can be seen in the attached photo. The panel next to the front passenger also needs to be repaired as it makes terrible noise when I open the front passenger door (no scratch or visible damage on that but the noise happened after the accident) Please reach to me if you are a certified mechanic/repair centre and can replace with genuine parts. The budget I suggest is just estimate so I need an official quote. Thanks.
