What does a housekeeping service include?
Housekeeping services can include one-off services or regular domestic tasks (daily, weekly, or fortnightly), from cleaning and cooking to even home maintenance. Your housekeeper will bring along all the products and equipment they need to clean and maintain your home - all you need to do is tell them what you need done. Here’s how they can help:
Cleaning
The most common housekeeping service involves cleaning. This could include general cleaning, like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning. Or it might include detail cleaning tasks like couch, curtain, floor, fridge, and rug cleaning. Depending on the number of tasks you’d like your housekeeper to complete, they may clean for just an hour, or up to the entire day. Your housekeeper will discuss a time that’s convenient for you, the tasks you need done, and the timeframe it should take to complete these tasks. If needed, they can bring their own cleaning supplies, like a vacuum cleaner and feather duster.
Organising and tidying
Many housekeepers offer professional organising services, where they help organise and tidy all areas of your home. This includes desks, filing cabinets, stationery, linen, wardrobes, toys, kitchen cupboards, garage interiors, and more. They’ll pull out all the items, organise them by category, and help you choose what you should keep, donate, or bin. They’ll also help by recommending suitable storage solutions to help you keep your home tidy for longer.
Cooking
Some housekeepers are available to help with cooking in your home. They might prepare a few snacks, or help prep several meals ahead of time so you don’t have to worry about cooking. Your housekeeper will present menu and recipe options for you to choose from and use your ingredient and kitchen supplies to cook everything in your kitchen. Once they’re done, they’ll store the freshly cooked food (with heating instructions) and clean up any mess.
Laundry
Washing and ironing starting to pile up? Housekeepers can help by putting on loads of washing, hanging clothes, loading the dryer, folding washing, ironing, and even putting it away. They’ll check the care labels to ensure appropriate washing/drying methods are used before they start the process. With some extra help, you’ll be all caught up on the laundry in no time.
Home maintenance
Many housekeepers are skilled in basic household maintenance tasks. But if they’re unable to do the job themselves, they’ll help organise and oversee skilled contractors who can help do repairs and maintenance in and around your home.

The main issues are: Too much stuff and not enough storage space A mix of clothes, sentimental items, old tech, books, hobby gear, and random bits and pieces Wardrobe and drawers are overflowing Some things need to be sorted into “keep,” “donate,” “sell,” or “throw away” piles I work big hours and rarely get a solid block of time to tackle this properly, so I really need someone who can guide the process and help keep things moving. Ideally, someone with experience in decluttering and small-space organisation. Let me know your availability, experience with this kind of task, and if you can provide a rough quote based on the info above. Happy to chat further or provide photos of the space if needed!

Remove sandbags on monday 10th march
$400
Cleveland QLD, Australia
7th Mar 2025
Remove 60 Sandbags. Normally filled (estimate each bag around 1/3 with sand ie. <20kg each) non-hessian bags 50 sandags are 30m away from driveway - first 10m carry - second 10m use a wheelbarrow (if you want) - final 10m carry (across artificial turf) (we didn't use a wheelbarrow and took 2 men 20 minutes with breaks) Take away and dispose. Unfortunately I have to travel away for work from Monday. Redlands city council 'If you are unable to store used sandbags or unsure if they are contaminated, these can be opened and sand scattered on lawns and gardens as topsoil, where it will not wash into stormwater drains.' The bags front a canal and are highly unlikely to be contaminated. non-contaminated Redlandc council 'If you are unable to store used sandbags or unsure if they are contaminated, these can be opened and sand scattered on lawns and gardens as topsoil, where it will not wash into stormwater drains.' For contaminated (will inform at the time but unlikely) then to recycling centre.

Will send pics via private message. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you. Matt

Hole dug in hard clay
$5
Manly West QLD 4179, Australia
27th Nov 2024
My pet has passed away and I need to bury him. The soil is ridiculously hard clay though, so I need help. A strong person and spade should be enough. But I'm no expert. Maybe special equipment and tools would help too. Please be sensitive with your approach. What: Need a hole dug in hard clay soil. About 50cm deep, with square 30x30cm. When: Flexible with dates and days, but the sooner, the better please. Preferably done before, or latest, Sunday, 1 December 2024. Where: Manly west, QLD 4179 Please let me know any questions you have. No idea about budget, so please put your best offer. Obviously losing a pet is hard enough. Thank you

Paul was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. He did exactly what we wanted, during a sensitive time, before the date. Highly recommend and hope to use again. Thank you so much!
