The job will involve: * Removing the existing factory head unit * Installing the new 6.8” multimedia/CarPlay head unit * Connecting and retaining steering-wheel controls * Installing and neatly routing the microphone/USB connections as required * Mounting the supplied reverse camera * Running the camera wiring from the rear of the car to the head unit * Connecting the reverse trigger so the camera automatically displays when reverse is selected * Testing everything and ensuring the trim/fascia is properly refitted The kit is designed specifically for this model Mazda, so there shouldn’t be any custom fabrication required. This needs to be completed onsite in my underground apartment garage in Surry Hills. Previous experience installing aftermarket head units and reverse cameras is mandatory.
