I’ve already purchased the Aerpro AX7510K 6.8” multimedia receiver kit to suit Mazda 2 2007–2014, including the vehicle-specific fascia and installation components, as well as the reverse camera. The job will involve: * Removing the existing factory head unit * Installing the new 6.8” multimedia/CarPlay head unit * Connecting and retaining steering-wheel controls * Installing and neatly routing the microphone/USB connections as required * Mounting the supplied reverse camera * Running the camera wiring from the rear of the car to the head unit * Connecting the reverse trigger so the camera automatically displays when reverse is selected * Testing everything and ensuring the trim/fascia is properly refitted The kit is designed specifically for this model Mazda, so there shouldn’t be any custom fabrication required.
