🌿 Gardener or horticulturalist wanted 🌿 We’re looking for an experienced and reliable gardener or horticulturalist to provide ongoing care specifically for the indoor and patio potted plants at Mana Beach House, our luxury holiday property in Salt Village. We already have a gardener who maintains the outdoor gardens and grounds. The role would involve approximately two hours of work every two - three weeks to keep the potted plants healthy and beautifully presented, including thorough watering, pruning, feeding, pest management, repotting, and recommending or replacing plants when needed. Excellent attention to detail is extremely important, as the property needs to be presented to a very high standard for guests. Experience and references are preferred. The plants have been very well maintained by our current team, who are unfortunately unable to continue due to their expanding business. A proper handover will be provided.

We are looking for someone to assist with adding some additional plants to our home. The garden is already established, so we’re not looking for a complete redesign — more some thoughtful additions and advice to improve a few areas. The main things we’d like help with are: Recommendation on plants types + planting of plants. 1. Privacy planting – at the moment we have very little privacy from our neighbours, so we’d like to explore suitable screening plants. 2. Feature planting – we’d love to add a beautiful feature tree, perhaps something like a grevillea, with some complementary lower planting underneath. 3. Additional screening – there are a couple of specific areas along the boundaries where we’d like to introduce plants to screen the neighbouring properties. 4. Olive tree – we currently have an olive tree (Helena) that needs to be planted, and we’d appreciate some advice on the best location for it. 5. Mulching – some areas of the existing garden may also need additional mulch. I’d also really appreciate some guidance on maintaining our existing plants, including how and when to prune them to achieve the look we’re after.
