***Edited from the original post to increase the budget to include the scissor lift hire*** Plant maintenance required on a 1st floor balcony planter box Specifically: • Remove 5 or 6 dead species (2 pig faces and 3 to 4 Cousin It plants) (see picture in red and possibly one in the middle) • Install 6 x 200m replacement species • Note: all plants to be installed with water crystals, organic fertiliser and fresh potting mix • General tip-pruning of the rosemary to tidy and encourage new growth • Add organic fertiliser across the entire planter box section • Removing old flowers, any dead parts of the Cousin It’s, etc Notes: • Plants, fertiliser and water crystals will be SUPPLIED, however you’ll need a ute (or similar) to pick these up from a local garden centre (pre paid ready for pick up) • Access to the balcony planter is from the driveway which is on a slight decline. You will need a 1 man scissor lift to access the planter box. The original garden bed at the residence became overgrown due to poor initial planning and was subsequently removed. The area has since been cleared of major vegetation, though some thin grass and minor root matter remain in the soil. An annotated reference image (see below) has been provided to illustrate the intended design and scope of works for the new garden bed. Scope of Works: The contractor is expected to complete the following scope of work to restore and replant the garden bed: 1. Site Preparation: Remove all remaining thin grass, weeds, and root systems from the cleared garden bed area. Lightly clean the back fence (marked in blue on the plan) using a gentle water wash to remove dirt and mildew without damaging the paint. 2. Weed Management & Soil Preparation: Lay durable weed matting across the entire garden bed to prevent weed regrowth. Supply and spread a fresh layer of nutrient-rich topsoil over the area (on top of the weed mat) to create a healthy soil base for new planting. 3.
