I'm looking for a physically strong person to dig up two birds of paradise plant clumps in Maylands ASAP within next few days (ideally by Sunday 9 Nov). Need a responsible, reliable person who is willing to try to dig deep to preserve as much as possible of the roots of each stem. The plants will need to be carefully divided into individual plants each with a decent sized root ready for replanting. Dry dead leaves and dead flower stems need to be carefully removed/cut off on site. The soil is to be backfilled into the pits at the end of the job. The worker will need to send me progress photo updates every hour and make adjustments according to my feedback and instruction (mainly to ensure that decent sized roots are preserved and the number of fatally damaged plants is kept at the mimimum - ideally no more than 5-10% of the plant stalks are too damaged for replanting). I will need all of the stalks (plants) to be delivered to Duncraig for re-planting. There are two large clumps. Each probably have around 45-60 stalks of the plants. The second clump will be included in the job if the first clump is satisfactorily completed. The two clumps can each be dug out on a different day, so they don't have to be done on one go. I'm open for a quote either by hourly rate or a fixed price for each clump. I can supply all the necessary tools including but not limited to these tools if you don't have them: Pointed shovel, flat shovel, mattock, reciprocating saw, axe, scissors. I'm willing to buy a fencing/digging bar for this job as well. Thank you!
