Looking for an experienced gardener to tidy up a medium sized backyard and side garden in Glen Iris. Budget shown is a placeholder, open to all quotes. The work is: 1. Trim the large hedges along the fence line flat on top and straighten the sides (one section is 3m plus with some dead growth poking out the top). 2. Shape and tidy the jasmine along the back fence, and refasten any runners that have come loose from the trellis and fence fixings. 3. Trim and straighten the jasmine growing on the brick wall beside the deck. Some of this is at height, so a ladder or platform is needed. 4. Weed and clear the flower beds (leaf litter, grass runners and weeds, including the beds beside the steps and along the side path). 5. Plant new plants in the cleared beds. Plants can be supplied by you or we can agree a list. 6. Remove all green waste. Optional extras, please quote separately if you can do them: cutting back the low tree branches overhanging the deck and clothesline, and stripping the ivy off the metal patio railing. We have roses in 2 RFC planters against the front wall (on the driveway.) The rose buses need to be transferred into new planters. It will be necessary to trim the rectangular root ball/soil to fit the new planters and then fill the edges with fresh potting mix. The steps are easy: 1.
