I need help loosening and turning over the soil in my backyard garden bed to prepare for spring planting. The area is approx. 8m long x 3m wide, and the soil needs to be loosened to a depth of 20–30cm (shallow end 20cm, deeper end 30cm due to slope). The space has already been cleared of major vegetation, but the soil is compacted and will need proper digging through (fork/rototiller/manual tools acceptable). Task is purely soil prep — no planting required. Looking for someone with experience in garden/landscaping prep who can get the soil into a good workable state for planting. Notes: Access is easy via side path. Can provide basic tools (shovel, fork, buckets), but happy if you prefer bringing your own. Please quote for the full job, not hourly.

Around 15 established bushes (and the bulk of their roots) need removal at the front boundary of our house. The thickest trunks are shown with reference to my hand.
