Automatic garage door suddenly not working, the motor sounds like it’s spinning but the belt is not moving, something sounds stuck in there.

Roller door has snapped it's hinge on one side and top panel has disconnected from the rest.

Unbolt rail from garage ceiling, loosen end fitting, slide off broken carriage, slide on new part, adjust tension, screw back bolt holding rail, test. Need own tools. Prefer experienced person.

I have a new garage door opener requiring fitting to the existing rail and bracket. The new opener is the same brand and model as the one being replaced.

I believe this can be taken in for scrap metal. Handy person will need to have experience with removing this type of door as it is spring loaded.

I have converted my garage into another room by putting sliding doors in. I now need to remove my old garage door. It is a double garage door with 4 x panels. The trickiest part will be removing the tension springs. You will need to have a set of the winder bars to safely detension the spring. I’m more than happy to be a spare set of hands.
