Ordered this armchair/manual recliner 12 months ago, after much drama company recently arranged to supply armchair. It is in 1 box in my car (Nissan x-trail) supplier put it in back of car for me but now I need box moved from car parked in driveway into spare room. Unfortunately I am not allowed to lift anything at the moment so need someone to move item. Armchair weights 65 kg unboxed, so guess 70 kg in box. Need a great handyman for on-going tasks. First task is to provide a permanent and sturdy fix for chair leg protectors. Have used the standard ones but they come off after some use. Needed thick felt solution so the chairs glide across floor and prevent damage. We have kids so floor gets messy also and can affect the standard felt protectors and some of the original chair glides are broken

Back of wardrobe (164cm by 90cm) needs to be replaced with another thin wood material to be stapled on. The front base (91cm by 8cm by 2cm) of the wardrobe have broken and needs to be replaced. Bottom needs a bit of sanding to be smooth. Include materials and labour in cost please.

We have a 6 seater solid wood dining table. We bought it at an antique store, and it has an old industrial finish as it was once a chemistry lab school table 60 years ago. The wood is solid. The legs are wrought iron. No work is needed on the legs. The table top needs to be modernised. Sanding, polishing, keeping the grainy look, but removing all trace of stains etc, a sleek modern look rather than the industrial finish. New colour stain and varnish in the end. The 6 chairs have a black frame and the seat and back are made of jute fibre with lots of stains. Needs to be reupholstered with either leather or waterproof fabric for a modern look. - Due date: Flexible

Bought these Kodu buffet/ cupboards that require two people to put together and it says one hour per buffet. We’ve done half of one and got stuck so it would be one and a half (basically), plus a baby’s high chair needing to be assembled. The one we’ve started (pics below) we put the back on the wrong way so would need to unscrew and put on the other side and then continue - we have putty to fill up the holes with. A two-person job! We need four tall narrow bookshelves fixed to the wall to make them safe. At the same time we want to make sure they are aligned at the front and have no gaps in between them. We have the parts from ikea to fix them to the wall already.
