We have a very tall ceiling - I believe 4 metres - and we don’t have a ladder that can reach the smoke alarm that is beeping. I think they are wired alarms and believe the back up battery may be out. But to be honest, I’m not 100% sure. We’ve been in the house for 3 years - and had no problems with the smoke alarms - so that would need to be part of the check. Budget is negotiable as it’s a Sunday.
