18th birthday party - bring the vibe

I’d love a quick performance (max 15 mins) for my friends going away. Preferably a Michael Jackson impersonator. (I’m being serious - we have an obsession with the song Human Nature - would ideally love this to be lip synced)

We are looking for a professional DJ to provide the soundtrack for the launch of our new takeaway-focused boutique café in Surry Hills. The goal is a high-end atmosphere that doesn't obstruct our service flow. The Details: • Date: Tuesday, 12 May • Time: 8:30am – 11:30am (3 hours) • Location: Surry Hills • Vibe: Sophisticated, upbeat morning energy (House, Nu-Disco, Chill Beats) Mandatory Equipment Requirements: You must be fully self-contained and able to work within a very limited space. Your setup must include: • Portable DJ Booth/Podium: A professional, standalone rig or sleek podium (no large tables). • Compact Audio: High-quality speakers/monitors appropriate for a small indoor environment. • Full Rig: Controller, decks, and all necessary cabling. • Minimal Footprint: Your entire setup needs to be streamlined and unobtrusive to customers grabbing coffee.

DJ will be in a corner at the Soultrap Bar in Surry Hills for a 21st birthday. DJ will need their own deck, preferably will also bring any other equipment but the venue does offer speakers, microphone and lighting etc if needed. If the setup is quick, DJ arrival time can be 7:30pm otherwise I can push forward the start time to account for set up. In total DJ will play for 4 hours ($100 an hour).

Hi, Thanks for the message. I would love to help with the event. What is the theme? Alisa

Halloween party for approx 40 people. We will provide table, PA and microphone. We would need the DJ for 4 hours

Hey! I have a 23rd birthday party on the 23rd of May. Event starts at 7pm and lasts til 12:15am. I'd like a DJ for 3-4 hours of the event, probably for the last leg of the event at 8/9pm-12:15am. We have luckily temporarily rented an underground bar at Surry Hills for the night. Need DJ to bring their own equipment. But since it's at the bar, sound system will be fine I assume. I'd provide most of the music suggestions (happy to have remixes), happy to give a draft playlist and for you to mix and mingle with the playlist to fit your mix. Mainly house/techno, r&b, pop and rap. All sorts of stuff, so I'd need a flexible DJ in terms of music taste. Unfortunately, I am a student, so I don't have much funds to hire a DJ for the night. Budget isn't flexible. Please send me some of your work so I know what you're about. A link to your Instagram or if you could email some previous sets that'd be great. Looking forward to hearing from you! Event space is attached.

I'm having a 40th birthday at the Foresters in Surry Hills from 7pm and i'd like to hire a roaming magician for fun. Mixed crowd and various ages from 18-70. Mixture of work friends, soccer friends, family, childhood friends etc. No religious or cultural sensitivities. Looking for fun things like disappearing games, illusion, guessing games etc. To surprise guests and have fun.

6pm-12am Mix of old and new, hip hop / Rap / dance / latin. Can keep the dancefloor going 30yr old crowd Open to requests from the floor

Need a dj able to play a 1/ max 1:30 h set, essential Afro house knowledge, plus Brazilian funk.
