We are looking for a professional DJ to provide the soundtrack for the launch of our new takeaway-focused boutique café in Surry Hills. The goal is a high-end atmosphere that doesn't obstruct our service flow. The Details: • Date: Tuesday, 12 May • Time: 8:30am – 11:30am (3 hours) • Location: Surry Hills • Vibe: Sophisticated, upbeat morning energy (House, Nu-Disco, Chill Beats) Mandatory Equipment Requirements: You must be fully self-contained and able to work within a very limited space. Your setup must include: • Portable DJ Booth/Podium: A professional, standalone rig or sleek podium (no large tables). • Compact Audio: High-quality speakers/monitors appropriate for a small indoor environment. • Full Rig: Controller, decks, and all necessary cabling. • Minimal Footprint: Your entire setup needs to be streamlined and unobtrusive to customers grabbing coffee.

DJ will be in a corner at the Soultrap Bar in Surry Hills for a 21st birthday. DJ will need their own deck, preferably will also bring any other equipment but the venue does offer speakers, microphone and lighting etc if needed. If the setup is quick, DJ arrival time can be 7:30pm otherwise I can push forward the start time to account for set up. In total DJ will play for 4 hours ($100 an hour).

Hey! I have a 23rd birthday party on the 23rd of May. Event starts at 7pm and lasts til 12:15am. I'd like a DJ for 3-4 hours of the event, probably for the last leg of the event at 8/9pm-12:15am. We have luckily temporarily rented an underground bar at Surry Hills for the night. Need DJ to bring their own equipment. But since it's at the bar, sound system will be fine I assume. I'd provide most of the music suggestions (happy to have remixes), happy to give a draft playlist and for you to mix and mingle with the playlist to fit your mix.
