My home does not have a rainwater tank, but there is an existing switch pump connected in the system. Historically, whenever I: Flush either of my two toilets, or Use the front or backyard garden taps, the pump would activate and make a humming/growling sound, and everything worked normally. Over the last few days: Water pressure has dropped significantly. The toilets take a very long time to refill after flushing. Front and backyard taps have very low flow. The pump is still activating and making noise, but it seems to be running continuously or longer than usual. The sound of the pump is slightly different from before. What I Need Diagnose the cause of the issue. Check the pump, filters, valves, pipework, or any blockages/debris. Restore normal pressure and operation if possible. I suspect it may be something relatively minor such as: Debris/blockage, Stuck valve, Pressure switch issue, Filter blockage, Pump setting adjustment, but I need someone experienced to inspect and confirm. Requirements Experience with domestic water pumps, pressure systems, plumbing, or irrigation systems. Please bring any basic diagnostic tools required.
