Hi, I’m looking for a reliable handyman to assist with a small aged care maintenance job in the Lalor area. The client requires attendance at their home to inspect the existing smoke alarms and replace the batteries where required. As this is for an aged care client, we are looking for someone who is professional, respectful, patient and comfortable working in a client’s home environment. The job would involve: • Attending the client’s home at an agreed time • Checking the existing smoke alarms • Replacing smoke alarm batteries as required • Testing the alarms after the battery replacement to make sure they are operating correctly • Taking before and after photos for our service report • Advising us if there are any issues with the smoke alarms that may require an electrician or further work • Leaving the work area clean and tidy Please let me know: • Your availability • Your call-out/service price • Which areas you cover • Whether you have an ABN and can provide an invoice • Whether you have experience working with aged care or disability clients There may also be ongoing handyman and home maintenance work available in the area for the right person.
