I am seeking a reliable, friendly, and hard-working person to assist me in my home for a few days each week over the next three weeks. The role involves cleaning, sorting, decluttering, and reorganising different areas of my house to help make things more functional and less cluttered. I will walk you through each room and explain exactly what I want done, but I also welcome someone who can take initiative, make suggestions, and help organise things in a practical way. Tasks Include: Sorting and reorganising the kids’ bedrooms and cupboards Decluttering and organising toys in the lounge rooms Rearranging bathroom cupboards and linen cupboards Cleaning and organising the pantry General home organisation to reduce clutter and improve flow Light cleaning as needed during the sorting process Assisting with reorganising spaces so everything has a clear place Ideal Person: Trustworthy, respectful, and comfortable working in someone’s home Great at organisation and decluttering Able to work independently once given instructions Reliable with good attention to detail Happy to work with me in the home as we go through each area Availability: A few days per week For the next three weeks ( all completed before christmas) Flexible times can be arranged Location: My home (details provided after hiring) Payment: Please include your hourly rate or day rate when applying. My mother is an 81yo retired Architect with Dementia, now in Aged Care. I need someone to help me go through her belongings. She has collected lots of clothes, jewellery, many boxes of fabrics, etc. some of which was passed down to her (very old stuff). I'm looking preferably for a lady familiar with these types of possessions. Experience with Decluttering/Sorting through deceased estates would be an advantage. My intention is to discard as much as possible, whilst retaining some valuable or sentimental items. Potentially a lot of hours over the next 2 weeks, for the right person for the job.
