Hi! I need the tops taken off some tall shrubs along my back fence. They're shading my neighbour's clothesline. Please only cut the plants marked with a red line in the photos, down to that line. No neat shaping is needed, just the height reduced. Everything else stays as is. The red bottlebrush and the pink-flowering shrub in the corner can stay as is. Please take away all clippings and green waste. Access to the backyard is via a narrow side driveway (photo attached) that won't fit a large trailer. Your vehicle can park at the gate, so the green waste will need to be bagged and carried out. The backyard itself is a flat lawn. You're welcome to come and look before quoting. Must bring your own tools, ladder, large garden bags and a vehicle or trailer for taking the green waste away.

I have 3 pine benchtops 900mm that need to be cut to 600mm and joined into a U shape.

I need a handy person to help stabilise two bedside lamps that tend to topple over because the lampshade heads are too heavy for their current bases. The bases have thin glued foam covers, which can be unpeeled to allow the inside to be filled with a suitable heavy, stable material to provide extra weight and balance. The foam covers need to then be refitted neatly. Requirements: * Use a safe, non-toxic and non-hazardous filling material. * Ensure the bases are sufficiently weighted to prevent the lamps from tipping over easily. * Refit the foam covers neatly after the work is completed. Looking for a practical, tidy and durable solution to make both lamps stable and safe to use.

Need someone who can weld and provide their own welder at a house in Sandy bay and weld two existing acrow props to a steel I beam for an insurance make safe.

I have wooden floorboards in an old farmhouse which are not tongue in groove. They have gaps between them in some rooms through the gaps I can see light from the ground underneath. Dig out and remove stumps of hedge plant (Tecomaria Capensis). Trellis is not to be damaged but could be removed and replaced to facilitate removal of stumps. Main root ball to be removed and roots cut to prevent regrowth. All vegetation to be removed.

Rodent exclusion + trap setup in roof cavity We've got mice getting into our roof cavity and want them dealt with properly — not just baited so they keep coming back. The job has three parts: Find the entry points — inspect the exterior, roofline, eaves, vents, weep holes, pipe/cable penetrations and roof tiles for any gaps a mouse could get through (they only need about 8mm) Seal them off — close all gaps using steel wool packed into expanding foam, and metal mesh over any vents/openings that can't be fully blocked. Mice chew through foam alone, so steel/mesh is important. Set the traps — access the roof cavity through the internal manhole (note: this is a low Australian-style roof space accessed via a ceiling hatch, not a full walk-in attic, so it's tight and requires care on the joists) and place snap traps along beams and wall lines where mice travel. We supply: snap traps, peanut butter, a ladder, and a head torch. You supply: sealing materials (steel wool, expanding foam, metal mesh), hand tools, and appropriate PPE (gloves, dust mask — roof insulation and dust).Single-storey home in Hadspen, TAS. Please bring your own materials for sealing (let us know if you'd prefer we purchase specific products in advance). Take before/after photos of the entry points found and sealed so we know what was done. Let us know if you spot signs it may be rats rather than mice, or any other damage (chewed wiring, nesting) while you're up there.

Old taps which need fixing

Needing the tops cut off & shaped pittosporum trees. They are quite thick branches and main base. Greenery waste taken away as well.

Attempt to fix chips and scratches on vehicle not successful. Would like someone who knows what they are doing to minimise the damage
