I have 4 metre outdoor steps straight like needing a handrail plus 8 metre outdoor steps that curve a bit so can’t be a straight line. Looking for some advice and ideas supply and instal

I have a couple of marks on a ceiling that could use some touchups. I had a pan with oil in it set fire in the kitchen, and it left a faint smoke stain on the wall and ceiling... not sure if that can be cleaned off or painted over. Want to change old fashioned taps to existing shower. Install new Mondello 1/2 turn ceramic hot and cold taps. Existing taps work fine, just updating. I have attempted to change the taps, very easy process, the issue is that water still runs from the taps when water is turned on and the taps turned off. Seems to be two methods to rectify 1. Re-seating valve (everything looks fine to me). 2. Adjusting the spindle of the new tap and/or install spindle extender. I would like someone who has done the above previously to help me out. The taps came with extenders.
