We’re hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner party at home for 8 guests and are looking for a friendly, professional waitstaff/all-round helper to ensure the night runs smoothly so we can focus on our guests. Tasks include: • Welcoming guests & offering initial drinks • Pouring/refilling wine, water & other drinks throughout the evening • Assisting with final meal prep and plating (simple tasks, no professional chef skills needed) • Serving entrees/mains/dessert to the table • Clearing plates between courses • Keeping the kitchen tidy as you go • Stacking and unstacking the dishwasher • Wiping benches and keeping the dining area neat • General tidy-up at the end of the night Ideal person: • Experience in hospitality/waitstaff, private events or similar • Confident serving food & drinks in a home setting • Well-presented with good attention to detail • Friendly and polite. • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
