Looking for an experienced handyman or cabinet maker to help fix a approximately 2cm gap between the underside of my overhead kitchen cabinet doors and the rangehood slide-out fascia. ​I’m open to your professional advice on the best/easiest solution, but initial ideas include: ​Option A: Adding a ~2cm packer/spacer plate beneath the existing cabinet base to drop the rangehood down to align flush. ​Option B: Trimming/cutting down the bottom of the cabinet doors and installing a taller stainless steel rangehood front panel (fascine cover plate) to cover the gap.

Installing a door jamb and hanging the sliding door plus lock. Arcs inside the bathroom have VJ panels that need to be trimmed to fit them. I’m also a QBCC licensed carpenter and builder. I’m just running out of time.
