Vehicle stopped on run to Carcoar. NRMA said radiator cap faulty and lost all fluid. Engine made a noise then stopped. Will now not start. Need an idea of what has happened and what may need to be done to fix it. If appropriate I am happy for this to be fixed at my home if feasable. Need to establish cause - split hose? leaking radiator? etc.

I am looking for an experienced and preferably qualified mechanic to teach our family how to carry out regular maintenance on my 2015 Honda Odyssey. I would like hands-on guidance so I can learn to maintain my car myself, rather than just have someone complete the work for me. I would like to learn: * maintain vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid as well as engine oil change ( I do know how to top up) * engine oil filter replacement ( i know how to replace cabin filter and air filter) * How to inspect the battery, belts, hoses, brake pad / disc and other basic components * How to identify what maintenance is needed and when I am happy to purchase the necessary fluids, filters, tools and equipment in advance if you can advise me on what is required. Ideally, I would like someone who can demonstrate the procedures, explain each step and supervise me while I practise. 2007 Audi A4 B7 sedan – rear right light/socket assembly I need help with the rear right lights on my 2007 Audi A4 B7 sedan. The rear right brake light, indicator and reverse light have all stopped working. The bulb has already been replaced by a mechanic, but the lights still didn’t work. The mechanic was able to get them working temporarily by jiggling/moving the light/socket assembly and advised that the socket assembly may need replacing. They have since stopped working again. I would like someone experienced with Audi/VW electrical work to: • Inspect the existing socket/bulb holder and connector • Confirm what part is actually required and check that the issue isn’t wiring/connector related • Identify the correct part number • Source/order the replacement part • Return to install it once it arrives • Check that the brake, indicator and reverse lights are all working correctly Payment for the part: The replacement part will be paid for separately from the Airtasker labour fee. I have a 2010 Toyota Vellfire and I would like to have an iPad Pro 11-inch securely mounted on the dashboard. I would like the iPad positioned directly above the existing infotainment system, as low as possible. Ideally, the bottom edge of the iPad holder should sit very close to, or lightly rest against, the top edge of the infotainment surround. This will help reduce vibration and keep the iPad low so that it does not obstruct the driver’s forward view. I would prefer: * a strong RAM-style mount; * a short arm to minimise vibration; * secure mechanical mounting to a solid dashboard structure or backing plate rather than adhesive alone; * a thin rubber or silicone pad where the holder lightly contacts the infotainment surround; * the iPad angled slightly toward the driver. I have photos showing the dashboard and the position I have in mind. Could you please let me know if you can do this installation and provide an approximate quote for parts and labour?

I have a 2009 BMW 120d E87 that has been off the road and unregistered for almost a year. Around September last year, the dashboard suddenly went completely dead, although the rest of the car was still functioning. A mobile mechanic inspected it but couldn't resolve the issue and suspected an electrical/wiring issue. There is also water getting into the car around the footwell, possibly related to the sunroof/drains. The car now has some mould inside, and after sitting for almost a year the battery is likely dead. I was previously told it could potentially be related to the BMW footwell/FRM module or wiring. I'm looking for someone experienced with BMW electrical faults, preferably E87/FRM issues, who can assess the symptoms and give me a realistic rough price range for the repair. Please let me know your experience with this type of BMW issue and your estimated repair range before accepting the job. I'm not looking to pay someone to simply inspect it and tell me they don't know how to fix it. The car is currently unregistered and cannot be driven, so ideally someone who can come to the car.
