Need help installing new alternator on my 1973 Mercedes SLC350. Requires rewiring as i’m converting from external to internal regulated.

Have a jack off canopy set up with an alternator and solar set up. Need a 3 pin Anderson installed on the outside of canopy so I can take it off, solar I can disconnect the have hard wired the alternator connection so just need the wire outside of the canopy cut and a plug put in so I can remove canopy from tray.

I own a 2005 Toyota Echo with rear end damage so I’m unable to open my boot. Don’t care about the damage but I need to be able to open my boot. Just need someone to help me out to fix it a cheap as possible. I have attached to pics to show the damage. You’ll be able to see that it’s only one area that’s stopping the boot from opening. I’m thinking someone with a grinder would be able to grind that hump off and fill it with putty and il spray paint it should work. I just don’t want to buy a grinder fix it than never use it again.
