Engine light has come on and I need someone to come out and check it and hopefully diagnose and fix the issue. I am away for work an hour from home and cannot afford to break down. The car has been having issues for a while now but lately has been struggling with the heat and could hear the engine lagging to go. Now the light is on. Located tarneit and need someone asap.

I have got a stripped (5mm allen) bolt in the intake manifold of Toyota V6 (2GR-FE) engine. The task is to either loosen that ONE bolt or take it out with whatever tool or mechanism works without damaging the intake manifold (it's ok if the bolt itself is damaged or can't be reused). I tried with a few torx and spline bits (e.g. M6/7 or T35/40) but it still slips, so most likely it needs to be drilled or needs a bolt extractor. It might be a simple task for someone with the right tool. Payment will only be released if the bolt is either loosened or taken out without any damage to the intake manifold. I can bring the car to you if you are within 10kms radius of Bentleigh, or you can come to my place. Time/date etc flexible. Thanks.

Before reading!! (ideal person would do it on the weekend) but can do weekday evenings. Also ignore the budget I have no idea how much it’ll cost Haven’t driven the car in 3 weeks but have been turning up once a week to turn it on. Just Saturday gone I turned up and the battery was flat so I jump started the car which was fine. Kept it running for about 1/2 hour to charge the battery. Turned the engine off. And then realised the driver side indicator wouldn’t turn off. So after I couldn’t figure out why. (Probably should’ve disconnected the battery but couldn’t be bothered as it was a long day and was like 10:00pm) so need someone to figure out and sort it out. But also be prepared you’ll need to probably jump started the car again. I do have jump start leads in the backseat (brand new). Sorry I don’t have a photo but it would just be a light on anyway. 150 series Prado 2.8l diesel engine fails to start or starts then stalls. Battery, fuel filter ok. Recently serviced 3 months ago so air and oil are ok. Coolant system is ok.

Potentially blown engine wants quote for rebuild and replacement

Last week I was driving, my check engine light came on. It wasn’t even 20 minutes later that I started to lose power, I ended up stopping the car with smoke pouring out of the bonnet. I NEED to know if my engine has blown. There was no loud bang but there were some light tapping noises. The aircon started playing up about a week before this had happend. And oil was re filled about 2 weeks prior.
