Rust Removal
Our car body repair services include removing rusted areas on the car body. Taskers will remove any rusted areas on your car’s body along with cracked or chipped paint, by sanding the areas down to the bare metal. All of the rust in the problem areas will be removed in this manner to prevent the rust from reappearing.
Car Body Repair: Filling Holes caused by Rust
After any rust has been sanded off from problem spots on the car body, there will likely be holes left by the offending rust. Taskers can fill the holes left by the corrosion by applying an adhesive body patch, applying a layer of fibreglass body filler, then sanding the filler down so the filled area appears natural. The rear bumper of our car, a 2010 Mazda 3, has a significant dint from being hit while parked. It's a big dent, but relatively simple - not crumpled or scratched. It looks like it could be 'pulled' easily but I don't have the tools for it. The job doesn't need to be perfect as we are selling the car - I just need it to look better than it does currently.
