I’m looking for an experienced carpenter (or patio/pergola installer) to line/cover the underside of my patio ceiling for a clean white finished look. Current situation Patio has exposed joists/rafters underneath (see photos). Downlight wiring has already been installed by a licensed electrician (wires are ready). I now need the ceiling lined and finished underneath. What I need done Advise best material for outdoor patio ceiling (white, clean look) – I’m open to fibre cement sheets or PVC lining panels. Install battens if required. Supply & install ceiling lining (or install only if we agree I’ll supply materials). Cut-outs/holes for the existing downlight locations. Neat edge finishing/trims so it looks professional. Please include in your offer Your recommended material option (PVC vs fibre cement) and why. I am having a Lifetime Storage Shed delivered tomorrow (see https://www.costco.com.au/Patio-Lawn-Garden/Sheds-Storage/Lifetime-Storage-Shed-24-x-3M/p/1900782). I need it installed on our existing slab as shown in the attached picture. This is a two person job so would need a two person team. I have availability on Friday 21 November, Sunday 23 November or Monday 24 November. Location is Springwood, Qld 4127. 3.75m x 3m x 2.4m flatpack metal gable roof garden shed assembly. Instructions have come with the shed plus Easyshed website has videos. We already have a concrete base constructed for the shed. Shed needs to be fixed down to the base with included brackets and anchors. Plus cut in couple of small vents for airflow. Something simple like Haron 150 x 100mm White Aluminium Pressed Wall Vent.

Our gate is no longer running along the sliding track runner, and somehow has fallen out of the mechanism which allows it to stay on the runner and sliding freely. Unfortunately, we have no clue how it broke, so we are unable to work out how to fix it. What we are looking for is to affix the gate back into the sliding mechanism attached to the wall, so it can run freely across the track runner again. Also looking at upgrading the lock on the other side which could provide better security. A handyman may be able to easily fix this, but because we’re both mechanically dyslexic and to the fact we aren’t sure either how it broke, I’m sure there’s someone very clever out there who could fix this. - Due date: Flexible
