bricklayer looking for small remedial work

I am looking for a bricklayer to cut and lay bricks for our pizza oven base based on the attached setout. We are looking to paint the bricks after laying so we would want the mortar to be tooled on visible areas. We also require storage / access beneath bench / oven base so we would also use a lintel. All bricks and sand / cement / lintels will be provided (if you could advise quantities for sand / cement). Access to the the back of the house is through a small passage down the side approx. 600mm wide. I am happy to assist in carrying materials / tools to work area. All the bricks have been neatly stacked 1.5m from work area. Recycled common bricks to be used. Please let me know if you require any additional information. Note works does not include closing of the top with white insulated bricks in example photo bottom left. We will complete a slab and sit these in.

The Job Involves: • Removing a few loose/sagging bricks directly underneath the window sill. • Cleaning away old mortar from the bricks and cavity. • Relay and re-mortar the bricks securely so they align correctly with the rest of the wall. • Ensure a clean finish matching the existing red/brown mortar color as closely as possible. Requirements: • Please bring your own tools, mortar mix, and safety gear. • Proven experience with bricklaying or masonry repair required (please share examples of similar work).

Build a small four-course garden retaining wall around an established Kentia palm in Paddington. Approximately 50 reclaimed bricks, already on site. Photograph shows the proposed position and approximate shape. Wall must be properly levelled, mortared and neatly pointed, with provision for drainage, perhaps three weep holes at paving level. Paving tiles are laid on solid concrete substrate so footing is probably not required, but please advise on this, and include mortar, minor brick cutting and complete clean-up in your offer. Experienced bricklayer with good reviews preferred.

The bench is to follow the curved garden bed/boundary area shown in our existing backyard photo (Length curved is 400cm. Depth of seat is 60cm. Height of seat 40cm). We are looking for a high-quality, professionally finished result using light, rustic/reclaimed-style bricks, with a soft Mediterranean/Australian coastal appearance. Scope of work includes: Construct curved masonry/brick bench in the garden area shown. Approximately 450–500mm finished seat height and 500–600mm seat depth. Smooth, consistent curved profile. Brickwork to the front face and top/seat area, similar to the reference images. Appropriate footing/base and preparation to ensure the structure is stable and does not move or crack. Work carefully around existing olive trees, garden beds, irrigation and garden lighting. Supply all bricks, labour, tools and equipment. Clean up and remove building waste on completion. Fixed budget: $3,000. Please state in your offer whether your price includes supply of bricks, mortar and other construction materials, or whether you propose that we purchase the bricks separately.
