I’m looking for an experienced bricklayer/bricklayer handyman to close up an existing external doorway. Work required: The existing door and door frame have already been removed. Brick up the opening from the existing concrete steps upward. Match the existing brick wall as closely as reasonably possible. After the wall is completed, remove the existing concrete steps. Remove the existing metal handrail. Remove and clean up any demolition waste from the work area. Materials: I will provide the bricks, cement/mortar and other basic building materials. You must provide: Your own bricklaying tools Your own demolition tools suitable for removing the concrete steps and handrail Relevant experience in brickwork and small demolition jobs The job is shown in the attached photo. I have an existing outdoor area and wish to extend slightly with 2 more brick pillars and extend brick paving to create a new brick edge profile and fill in brick paving as extended. All bricks on site and close . I will supply sand, cement and bricks. I need to bring your tools, mixer, brick saw and expertise. Brick paving to be laid in mortar. Brick pillars will need footings and I will supply rock, cement: sand to allow you to make concrete. Easy access via wide gate to backyard where job is.

I have an old aircon unit that needs to be pulled out and re-bricked. See photos. The hole is about 20 bricks. I have the bricks, just need the brick laying and cutting expertise. The hole needs to be accessed via a high ladder or from the balcony.

Brick garage needs to have some brick work shaved off a right hand pillar to fit stove

A brick gate/fence pier at a residential property in Preston has cracked through horizontally, roughly halfway up its height, after being accidentally clipped by a delivery vehicle. The crack runs through several courses of brick and mortar joints — see photos. Looking for an experienced bricklayer to assess and repair. This will likely need: Removal and rebuilding of the cracked courses (not just repointing) Reusing or matching brick colour/texture as closely as possible to the existing red brick Mortar colour matched to existing joints Structural integrity restored so the pier is safe and stable again

Need a outside fireplace built. I have 2 pellets of bricks to use. There is already a concrete pad poured for it.

Need 2 courses of bricks laid under front window sil and door. It’s 2m wide so will be about 30 bricks. See picture that is marked up with where brick need to go. Bricks are on site and will have a few pre mix motar bags for the job.

Had a hot water unit removed. Need the hole in the wall bricked in. Remove half bricks and re-brick hole. Also the small crawl space underneath bricked in. Happy to use the bricks around the holes. Plenty there.

Pictures is just AI but what I'm hoping to get done. Looking to have a column made up to match the height and depth of the exisiting one. From what I can tell, it's going to be about 150 to 200 bricks which will be supplied alongside the mortar. Footings were already be poured and have supporting posts sticking out but it will need to be tied into the neighbours brick column as you go. Don't need to worry about core filling it, as I'll have a mixer to do that. And no need to worry about capping, as that can be done by me. Realistically, this job is to loaden the load on me a bit.
