I have a Mazda RX7 FC 1989 model. The car does not crank and start. On the last start, the car battery charge was low and I tried to start the car, it cranked with low power and it failed to start before the battery ran out of power. I have since recharged the battery to full, attempted to jump start the car but the starter motor still does not crank at all. The battery seems fine as the car accessory and reds comes on, headlights turn on but when I turn the key to start, it does not crank or start.

Motor powers on and spins internally (audible), display shows no errors. However, the output sprocket/chain does not turn. Hall sensors and wiring are confirmed working; controller communicates correctly. Suspected issue: internal one-way sprag clutch or reduction gear not engaging. Require inspection of motor internals, identification of fault, and repair/replacement of sprag or gear if needed. What’s needed: Technician with experience in electric pit bike / e-scooter mid-drive motors. Tools for disassembly of motor housing and sprocket shaft.

I have a Nissan Cube 2008 and the reverse camera is no longer working. Rather than connect a new camera into the ancient existing screen, I have purchased a hands-free CarPlay enabled navigation system, which will sit over the current screen. Note therefore that the budget advised is for installation of the reverse camera and connection to reverse lights and through to controller on the dashboard, including testing the install. I would also like to see if the existing car speakers can be used for navigation, music etc. The hands free monitor/controller unit is already positioned and operating but the reverse camera needs to be installed and wired up. Installation details and accessories that came with the unit will be shared with you. I would like someone experienced with installing reverse cameras. You will need to remove the current broken reverse camera, replace with the new camera, and wire to the reverse lights and through to the front of the car. The installer would need to have all their own tools with the work to be undertaken outside my house in Alexandria.In addition to the install tools required for this job (including soldering iron, wire crimpers, tools to safely remove trims and panels) you will likely need electric driver and drill as the current camera bracket has some rust is difficult to remove.
