Hi, I need an experienced handyman to assemble a 2.5m wide IKEA PAX wardrobe and build a custom 15cm high timber base for it. Key Tasks: Build a Custom Base: Construct a 2500mm (W) x 580mm (D) x 150mm (H) structural timber base using 140x45mm pine. Must be perfectly leveled (floor is next to a brick wall). Install a decorative oak-effect cover panel to the front of the base (matching the IKEA frame). PAX Assembly: Assemble 3 PAX frames (100cm + 100cm + 50cm) and mount them onto the base. Note: The 50cm frame is an open unit (no doors). The two 100cm frames need 4 doors and knobs installed. Wall Mounting: Secure all units firmly to the red brick wall for safety. What I will provide: All IKEA PAX components, doors, and handles. All timber and screws from Bunnings (I will have these ready). Decorative cover panels for the plinth. Requirements: Must have your own tools (saw, power drill, level, etc.). Experience with IKEA PAX hacks or custom plinths is a plus. Reliable and attention to detail for door alignment.
