Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman or flatpack assembly specialist to replace a drawer unit at our retail store, in Westfield Miranda. The Job (3 Parts): 1. Removal & Disposal: Remove and dispose of the existing 6-drawer timber cabinet currently located under our wall-mounted TV. You will need to take this unit away for proper disposal. 2. Flatpack Assembly: Assemble a new IKEA 6-drawer unit (flatpack box is already in-store waiting to be built). 3. Raising & Installation: The store requires the new unit to be raised approximately 10cm off the floor. You will need to supply and install a suitable solution for this (e.g., attaching heavy-duty furniture legs/risers or building a neat timber plinth/base at the bottom). Once completed, position the raised cabinet neatly under the wall-mounted TV. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the hardware/materials required to raise the cabinet by 10cm (such as risers, legs, or timber for a plinth base). The cost of these materials must be included in your final offer. Requirements: - Proven experience with flatpack furniture assembly (specifically IKEA drawers). - Experience with basic carpentry or furniture modification (to safely raise the cabinet). - You must supply all your own tools and the cabinet-raising hardware/timber. - You must have a suitable vehicle to take away the old wooden cabinet for disposal. - Public liability insurance is required.
