The car was jump-started using a welder against my wishes , electrical problems developed. The alternator has since been replaced, and the engine starts and runs relatively normal, including running for around 20 minutes. However, the following faults remain: * A/C, AUDIO and power-window fuses blow immediately when replaced. * Radio, power windows and air conditioning are not working. * Tail lights remain on when the ignition is off and the key is removed. * The original alternator has been replaced, but the electrical faults persist. What I need: * Automotive electrical fault diagnosis and short-circuit testing. * Inspection of affected circuits, wiring, relays, fuses and main power supplies. * Charging-system and voltage checks. * Identification and repair of the underlying fault, with any further damage assessed. * A quote before replacing additional parts. Having some trouble getting the new alternator belt on the engine. Got old one off, the issue is the one that ones round the lower crank shaft and what i think is the the pump as well. Had the radiator out but didn’t make a difference and went away for a bit so bolted back up. Fam is reverse threaded I don’t have the required tools would help for sure. Cheers
