The battery warning light has been coming on intermittently, and recently multiple warning lights appeared on the dashboard. The power steering also became very heavy, which makes me suspect the alternator has failed.

Hi there. We have an old paddock basher that is the best car ever. At the moment its a "Hybrid" as we charge the battery with a charger, and then a week later the battery is flat, and we have to charge it again. We think it maybe the Alternator.....but no idea. It only discharges when running..... We understand this may take 2 trips one to diagnose, and one to do whatever. This is for the first hour We live 10 mins past Canungra...between Beaudesert and Canungra. tnx Paul

Price negotiable Needed 2 jump starts to get home 8km last night- Car battery not charging while driving- presumed alternator failure, battery may also be dead (it’s definitely out of charge) I have but no way to check if it needs replacing, it might just need a charge.
