my partner has a sentimental pair of shorts which have started getting holes due to how much wear they get. For his birthday, I want to sew him a new pair exactly the same, using the old ones as a pattern. I have a sewing machine, and can provide the material, but I need help getting the pattern from the old pair. I don't have a photo, they're a pretty standard pair of shorts with pockets and a non-elastic waist. Thank you!

I have a basic skill level of sewing, and was taught to sew in school (many moons ago). I have recently acquired a very good second hand machine that I had serviced and I want to learn to sew upholstery cushions, attach zippers, cut my own patterns and then hopefully advance to more complex things. Looking for someone who can spend a few hours per week with my at my premises to teach me and work with me. Looking to pay about $30 per hour and do about 3 hours one day a week ongoing.

A - low cut leotard needs to be cut and sewn into high bikini style front and back. B - shape to fit and sew on black stretch velvet V shape front and back. I have the material. C - maybe more embellishments on bust tbc and will adjust fee accordingly if we do anything with the bust.
