I'm looking for a friendly front-of-house person with customer-service experience to help run a casual indoor/outdoor event on a 5-acre property in Tyabb. The role runs 9:00–17:00 and involves setup, guest welcome, and casual food & drink service for ~ 100 people (50 adults, 50 kids). You will be one of two people doing this task. ## Details - Role: front-of-house / waiter-style position - When: 9:00–17:00 (event day) - Location: Tyabb (5-acre property) - Food/drink: Pizza and soft drinks provided (you must manage breaks so there is always coverage) ## Key responsibilities - Help with setup: arrange tables, chairs, ice buckets and general prep - Greet guests at the front gate (between 9:00–11:00 when needed), check names on a list and direct parking - Serve casual food and drinks from ~10:30 until ~17:00 - Collect canapés, pizzas and gelato from the catering truck and deliver to guests - Take drink orders and retrieve drinks from the bar - Keep the site tidy: collect/empty rubbish, clean spills, and clean up any breakages (dustpan available if needed) - Maintain a visible/uniformed presence so you stand out from guests ## Skills/requirements - Previous customer service or waiting experience - Friendly, reliable and able to work outdoors - Basic ability to carry trays and walk across outdoor terrain - Bring a clear, identifiable uniform (so you stand out from guests) ## How to apply Please reply with: - Brief summary of relevant experience - Confirmation you can work the full shift (9:00–17:00) - Any questions or special requirements

Looking for a waiter with basic food prep skills for my 40th birthday party. Located at a private home in Thornbury, required from 6.45pm to 9pm. Event starts at 7pm. All food will be pre-cooked — I just need someone to microwave, assemble and circulate serving guests. It’s a cocktail-style event, so you’ll be roaming with platters throughout the night. Food is simple and easy, mini cheeseburgers, skewers and pasta. It would be great if you could bring a serving tray to roam with. I’ll supply all disposable plates, bowls, cutlery etc. There will also be some light assistance required with collecting used glasses, loading the dishwasher and topping up guests’ drinks if needed. Looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, well-dressed and professional.
