I have a power supply unit from a router that I need fixed. It will not switch on, its 240v AC to 24v DC power supply. Full tear down of the device can be found here https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Unifi+Dream+Machine+Teardown/183659 The connector that runs to the mainboard with CPU has two possitive and negative wires, both 24 volt and both connected to the same tracks on PCB. (see photo) If you look closely the top two pins run to ground while the bottom two pins run to the positive. This can also be backed up by other people that have done repairs. Particularly there is a guy on YouTube. https://youtu.be/PzMx0m501jY?si=CrABAPeIDOIPIbZO This device does not have a power on or off switch. If power is applied the unit will boot and stay on. If it's not it will just turn off. So it makes sense that those pins two are positive and to a negative. There is no trigger wire for the main board.

Title: URGENT – Licensed Electrician Needed – 3 Phase Power Fault We urgently need a licensed electrician experienced in industrial three-phase electrical systems. Our workshop air compressor has suddenly stopped working. The control display is completely blank and the machine will not start. We suspect an electrical supply issue, possibly a faulty circuit breaker, phase loss or an upstream power supply fault. Work required: Diagnose the three-phase power supply fault Check Compressor CB1 and upstream electrical supply Identify the cause of the abnormal voltage reading Repair the fault and restore power to the compressor Supply replacement parts if required Location: Clayton South VIC 3169 Urgency: ASAP – preferably tonight or tomorrow morning. Must be a licensed electrician with industrial electrical fault-finding experience. Please advise your earliest availability and call-out fee. Photos attached.

Description: Looking for a licensed electrician to complete a few specific electrical jobs at my two-story townhouse. The Tasks: Hard-wire Alfresco Heater & Install a double socket: Hard-wire a wall-mounted Arlec heater (2400W) to an isolation switch, and install a separate outdoor double socket. There is an existing outdoor weatherproof socket nearby on the brickwork (currently powering the gas hot water unit) that can be extended via surface conduit if the circuit has enough capacity for the load. If it shares a heavily loaded circuit, please factor in running a dedicated circuit. Hard-wire 2x Outdoor Blinds: Run power to the Zemismart blind motors and install a weatherproof isolation switch in the alfresco. (Note: There are 2 existing downlights in the alfresco ceiling right next to the blinds that can likely be tapped into for this). Recess 2x Double Sockets: Swap the existing indoor brackets and faceplates for recessed models so TV can sit flush. Fault Finding (1x Double Socket): Inspect and repair one existing indoor double socket that is currently tripping the breaker. Install 1x Downlight Downstairs: Supply and install a standard downlight (can be tapped directly into the existing downstairs lighting circuit ceiling cavity). All work is on the ground floor. Note on Switchboard: There is plenty of room on the switchboard DIN rail for a new breaker if a dedicated circuit is required for the heater. However, I am hoping it can just safely run off an extension from the existing outdoor GPO, as the house power is already spread across 5 separate 20A circuits. What I am supplying: The Arlec heater The motorized blinds Please provide an all-inclusive quote for labor, cabling, and the required faceplates/switches. Let me know your availability!
