Hello, I'm looking for someone to do my personal tax, I also have a sole trader business that is now inactive since November last year and needs to be closed down (so it's barely a part of the tax return). And I also have a Pty Ltd company tax return to do as well (its just me in the company, contracting my services to my 'work'). Also, I've done all my business activity statements so far as well, I'm happy to keep doing those myself. Tax agent must be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB)

I am seeking an experienced Australian tax specialist or tax lawyer to provide an independent assessment of a loan interest deductibility matter relating to a residential investment property. Scope of advice: • Assess the tax deductibility of interest on an existing loan facility. • Consider the original borrowing arrangements, subsequent loan restructuring and use of funds. • Review the application of relevant Australian tax legislation, ATO rulings and case law. • Identify supporting arguments, potential risks and any areas of uncertainty. • Provide a concise written opinion on the deductibility position and its treatment in personal income tax returns. Requirements: •Demonstrated expertise in Australian income tax law, particularly property financing and interest deductibility. •Experience with complex loan arrangements and ATO interpretations. •Must be an Australian-based registered tax agent or Australian-qualified tax lawyer with demonstrable experience in complex income tax matters. This is a defined advisory assignment, not a request for tax return preparation. The objective is to establish whether proposed claims for loan interest deductions in my personal income tax returns are legally supportable and defensible under Australian taxation law, including in the event of ATO scrutiny. I look forward to hearing from you.

I’m looking for an experienced Australian tax accountant/tax agent to complete my 2025–26 individual tax return. My situation is a little more complicated because I had two different sources of income during the financial year: * I worked as an employee in sales for part of the financial year. * Around October 2025, I transitioned into running my own personal training business as a contractor/sole trader. * I now receive income directly through my personal training business and have business-related expenses that need to be correctly accounted for. * I have my sales income statement/payment summary information, business income records, and expense information available. * I have not previously lodged the business income separately, so I need someone to make sure everything is correctly included in my individual tax return. * I’m an Australian tax resident and have no spouse. I’m looking for someone who can: 1. Complete and lodge my tax return correctly. 2. Make sure my employee and sole-trader income are both reported correctly. 3. Identify legitimate business deductions I may be entitled to claim as a personal trainer. 4. Review my records and let me know if I’m missing anything. 5. Explain the calculations and what I can expect to pay/receive. Ideally, I’d like someone who is a registered Australian tax agent/accountant and has experience with sole traders, contractors, and fitness/personal training businesses. I can provide all relevant income, expense and business records once the job is accepted. Please include your experience, estimated fee, and what is included in your service when making an offer.
