Looking for a reliable handyman service to complete a multi-task backyard project. Scope of Work: • Site inspection, measure up and order raw building materials • Site Demolition & Clearing: Clear a narrow walkway between a water tank and a fence line. Demolish old chicken coop, remove an arched wire mesh tunnel, and neatly stack all waste on the kerb for council collection. • Paving (Approx. 3m x 2m): Excavate dirt, level the ground, lay the road base/sand bed, and pave a 6m² area alongside the weatherboard house wall. • Lean-to Pergola Build: Construct a basic treated pine shelter (approx. 3m W x 2m D x 1.7m H) anchored securely off the weatherboard wall. • Flatpack Assembly: Assemble a supplied flatpack chicken coop (approx. 2.1m W x 0.9m D x 1.3m H), position it under the new shelter, and mount an automatic door opener unit. • Plumbing Repair: Re-align a shifted PVC first-flush diverter pipe on the water tank, install a PVC repair sleeve with silicone, and secure it firmly with new heavy-duty pipe brackets. Budget - $1500 labour, raw building materials to be reimbursed on receipt. Flat pack coop and auto door supplied. Timing - as I need to re-house my chickens it would be great if this job can be achieved over one or two days. I am flexible but would like to have it booked and completed in the next two or three weeks.

Looking for someone experienced in landscaping/paving to prepare and pave part of our backyard. The area is currently mostly bare soil and reasonably flat, but will need to be properly levelled and prepared before paving. We’re wanting a finish similar to the inspiration photo attached: * Large-format square/rectangular pavers * Small, consistent gaps between pavers * Decorative pebbles/rocks between the pavers * Ground properly levelled and compacted so the finished surface is stable and drains correctly * Pavers laid level and neatly aligned This job is for the ground/paving only. We do not need the steps, furniture, fire pit, garden beds, outdoor kitchen or other landscaping shown in the inspiration photo. There is an existing concrete undercover/carport area which is staying as-is — the new paving is for the dirt yard area in front of it. Happy to either purchase the pavers/pebbles ourselves based on your advice, or receive a quote including materials. Please quote for labour/preparation and let me know: * what base/preparation you recommend * whether you can supply materials or prefer us to supply them * examples/photos of similar paving work if possible. I can provide measurements of the area for quoting.
