Looking for a skilled carpenter or handy maker to design and construct a lightweight, modular pine-look display system for a market stall. The entire system must be easy to transport and require minimal-to-no tools for assembly (ideally pieces slot together). 1. Modular Pegboard Wall (~2.8m W x 50cm H) Purpose: To hang individual products using small dowels, or to mount the grid display box (Item 2). Transport: Must be modular/split into sections to fit inside or on the roof racks of a Mitsubishi Outlander (waterproofed if transport is external). Setup: Needs free-standing, weight-bearing legs with waterproof feet for outdoor use. Can also attach to marquee legs for stability. Clearance: Designed to sit nicely above a 1.23m high display table under a 2m marquee eave. Portability: Must be lightweight enough for easy lifting by one or two people. 2. Wooden Grid Display Box (3 x 4 Grid) Purpose: To showcase twelve 8cm diameter baubles. Mounting: Must attach securely to the pegboard wall (e.g., using dowels on the back that slot into the pegboard holes) or flat on a table. Protection: Features a layer of red velvet cushioning on the back panel to prevent breakage. Safety: Consider a clear Perspex sheet that slots into the front (or small individual hooks) to secure the baubles when vertical or during transport. I am seeking an experienced cabinet maker, kitchen renovator or skilled tradesperson to replace the front cabinet doors, drawer fronts and kickboards in an existing kitchen. To be clear, I am not seeking a full kitchen renovation. The objective is to replace the cabinet and drawer fronts with a durable, moisture-resistant solution while retaining the existing kitchen structure where practical and minimise cost. The current timber/MDF fronts have been affected by really bad mould and moisture over time. The existing cabinet carcasses are expected to remain in place where possible so this is not a full kitchen renovation. Scope of Works: • Measure existing cabinet doors, drawer fronts and kickboards • Supply and install replacement fronts • Remove and dispose of existing mould-affected fronts • Assess and advise whether existing hinges, handles and hardware can be reused or should be replaced • Ensure all works are completed to a professional standard Material Requirements: My preference is for a premium, mould-resistant, non-wood material such as PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) or an equivalent product. The material should be: • Waterproof and highly resistant to humidity and moisture • Resistant to mould growth • Scratch-resistant and durable • Easy to clean and maintain • Suitable for long-term residential use • Modern matte finish preferred I am specifically looking to avoid MDF, particleboard and timber veneer products due to previous mould issues. I am looking for an experienced woodworker, furniture maker, CNC operator or cabinet maker to manufacture a custom set of professional maderotherapy (wood therapy) massage tools. The tools will be made from solid beech wood (preferred) and need to be smooth, durable and suitable for professional body treatments. Three art board consist of MDF 70 cm x 100 cm panels and a wooden slatted subframe (2 cm thick and 4 cm wide). They are joined together either with wood glue or screws (the screws should be long enough to prevent them from breaking through the face). The face of the frame should be clean and free of holes, nails, and other unnecessary items. If you glue the frame and subframe together with glue, you need to clamp them together to ensure a secure bond. This is how we do it. We install furniture fasteners. The wood in the subframe is removed to create a recess, and then this hanger is installed in that recess. I'm attaching a photo of my frame.
