We are looking for an experienced developer to build a low-cost automated inventory synchronisation system to synchronise our supplier stock feed with our Shopify store. Our supplier sends updated stock lists via email as CSV attachments. The system must automatically read the latest email attachment, process the CSV, and sync inventory quantities to Shopify. Key Requirements: • Monitor emails with a fixed subject line • Download and process attached CSV files • Match supplier StockCode with Shopify SKU • Update Shopify stock quantities per warehouse/location • Support configurable warehouse mapping between supplier warehouses and Shopify locations • If a product exists in Shopify but not in the latest supplier CSV, automatically set stock to zero or disable inventory • Prefer AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, etc.) for minimal ongoing cost • Include logging, error handling, and documentation Preferred Skills: • Shopify API • AWS serverless development • CSV automation • Email integrations • Inventory synchronisation systems Please provide: • Relevant experience • Suggested technical approach • Estimated timeframe • Approximate monthly AWS running costs
