I am looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter, builder, rigger, or installer to help design and install a safe pulley or hoist system down an internal stairwell. The goal is to safely lift and lower items between floors using a pulley system. The system must be stable, secure, and load-rated. It must not be attached to plasterboard, light fittings, cornices, or any non-structural surface. The space is an internal stairwell with a high ceiling. Photos are attached. There is currently a pendant light nearby, so the installer will need to assess the best fixing location and make sure the system does not interfere with the stairs, balustrade, light, window, or walking path. Requirements: Inspect the stairwell and ceiling/wall structure before installation. Identify safe fixing points, ideally into structural timber, steel, or another appropriate load-bearing member. Recommend the safest pulley, hoist, bracket, rope, anchor, and fixing setup. Use load-rated hardware only. Ensure the system is stable and safe for repeated use. Confirm the safe working load before installation. Make sure the installation does not create a falling-object risk over the stairs. Advise if a builder, engineer, or permit is required before proceeding. Leave the area clean and tidy after installation. Please only respond if you have experience with load-bearing fixtures, lifting systems, structural fixing, rigging, or similar installations. Budget: $600 for assessment and installation labour. Materials can be discussed separately if required. Important: Safety is the priority. I do not want a basic DIY hook installed into plaster. I need a proper, safe, stable, load-rated solution.

Repair and secure towel rail * The towel rail has become loose and is now leaning away from the wall. * It was repaired previously, but the issue has reoccurred. * Looking for a long-term solution to secure it properly, even if it needs to be fixed in a slightly different position. 2. Then paint it with plain white paint. Important: I already have an electrician who will install the downlights later. You only need to leave and cut the appropriate holes/openings for 3 downlights. No electrical work is required. Scope of Works: • Supply all materials, plasterboard, screws, compounds,paint, tapes and consumables. • Install new plasterboard to replace the missing ceiling sections shown in the photos. • Cut and prepare openings for 3 downlights in locations to be confirmed on site. • Flush, set, stop and sand all joints. • Paint the repaired ceiling area and blend with the existing ceiling as closely as possible. • Remove all rubbish and leave the area clean upon completion.
