Looking for an experienced plasterer to complete two small jobs in my kitchen: 1. Install plasterboard to close the open gap above the kitchen cabinetry/bulkhead area. The timber framing is already in place. Finish joints and make it ready for painting. 2. Extend the existing cornice on one side of the kitchen cabinetry towards the wall and complete the corner neatly, matching the existing cornice profile as closely as possible. Please include materials, plastering/jointing and sanding in your quote. Painting is not required. Photos attached for reference. Looking for a neat, professional finish. Please let me know your availability and quote.

Kids have made some holes in rental property plasterboard walls (and hollow doors). I’ve filled them with cornice cement for strength, but job requires finishing. Sand back, apply top skim coat of plaster and paint (I can supply original paint). Moving out soon so job needs to be completed in the next few weeks. Contact me for photos and discuss fixed price quote. (Apologies to everyone that previously contacted me. I was preoccupied at the time and my previous job listing expired, so I was then unable to reply to your message in the app!)

Our cornice was designed to run around a gas heater flue, that has since been removed. We are looking to neaten this up and have a continuous cornice along the wall. Painting is not required - just any necessary plasterwork to fill the hole in the ceiling, remove the offset cornice pieces and fill in with a continuous cornice. The cornice is a Victorian gutter style, but not original - most likely a replica installed in the 80s or later. I have not been able to match it against any products online; the gap might need to be plastered in-situ to match.
