We're looking for a fit, reliable person (or team of two) to help my in-laws, who are in their 70s, keep on top of their garden in Bardon. The property is on a sloped, terraced block backing onto bushland, with sandstone retaining walls, lots of established shrubs and natives throughout. Expect plenty of walking up and down with wheelbarrows to get green waste out to the trailer. The work includes: • Weeding garden beds across several terraces • Trimming and shaping low shrubs and hedges (no tree lopping, that's handled separately) • Removing all green waste from the property What we're looking for: • Fit and strong. This is hands-on, physical work, not a quick mow-and-go. • Your own trailer is essential • Your own tools preferred (some gear can be borrowed on site) • Some garden or plant experience, so you know what's a weed and what to prune versus leave • Friendly, reliable and respectful, since you'll be working around an older couple's home Pay and hours: • $50/hr per person, minimum 4 hours per visit (more welcome if you're up for it) • The first visit will be a bigger clean-up and will likely take a full day • After that, regular visits [fortnightly/monthly], open to discussing what works • Midweek or weekends both fine, and early starts are preferred over summer To apply, message me with a bit about your experience, your availability, and whether you're solo or a pair. More photos are available on request. Type of gardening: Garden cleanup Size of garden: Above 300m² Has green waste bin: Yes
