Pool Safety Officer (Lifesaver) for 4 year olds Birthday Party – Woolooware Date & Time: Saturday, 6th December | 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (3 hours) Location: Woolooware, NSW Role Overview: We're hosting our 4 year old sons birthday party at our home, we have a pool and kids will be there of young ages. We need a calm, energetic, certified pool safety officer to supervise and ensure a safe, fun environment. The ideal candidate will manage water activities and respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies. What You’ll Do: -Supervise children in and around the pool at all times; enforce pool rules. -Actively supervise water activities and games; ensure safe play. -Serve as poolside lifeguard on standby. -Administer basic first aid and CPR if needed . -Set up and tidy poolside equipment (floaties, towels, shade, life rings, towels, etc.). Assist with party activities and supervision of the birthday child and guests. -Communicate any safety concerns to us promptly. Requirements; -Current nationally recognized pool safety/lifesaver certification (e.g., AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society, or NSW/QLD equivalent lifeguard license). -Current CPR and First Aid certification -Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Proven experience supervising children at pools or kids’ events. -Reliable, punctual, and professional; strong communication skills. -Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies. -Small first aid kit and basic rescue equipment preferred. What’s Included/Provided: -On-site briefing and a clear point of contact. -Access to shade, sunscreen, and basic pool safety equipment. -Weather contingency plan and activity adjustments. -Light refreshments for the team (if agreed). Ideal Candidate Personality: -Patient, friendly, and energetic with kids. -Calm under pressure; strong problem-solving and communication skills. -Strong situational awareness and sense of humor. -Experience within a similar domain

🎉 Party Helper for 40th Birthday Celebration — Prahran (Sat 1st Nov, 2pm to early evening by negotiation) I’m hosting a fun and relaxed 40th birthday celebration at my home in Prahran and am looking for an experienced and friendly event helper to keep things running smoothly so I can focus on my guests. 🕒 Details • Date: Saturday 1st November • Time: 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm (6 hours total) • Location: Private home in Prahran (indoor–outdoor space, garden party style) • Guests: Around 40 people, mature and well-mannered crowd 🧑‍💼 Tasks • Light tidying throughout the event (collecting glasses, plates, napkins, etc.) • Stacking and unloading the dishwasher • Keeping drinks topped up (wine/champagne) • Maintaining the grazing table area (neat and replenished as needed) • Generally keeping the space looking good No food prep or cocktail mixing required.
