I need a videographer at short notice to film a corporate supplier awards night tomorrow, Thursday 17 September, and deliver a short highlight reel. Details: Location: Alpha Dining, Sydney CBD Time: 6:30pm to 8pm (please arrive by 6:00pm to set up) Event: cocktail-style corporate function, around 140 to 160 guests, with an awards presentation on stage. Deliverable: one edited reel, no longer than 60 seconds, vertical 9:16 and 16:9 for Instagram and LinkedIn, with music and light colour grade Turnaround: with in 3-3 days. What to capture: arrivals and guests mingling, venue and branding, the awards on stage including winners receiving their awards, and general energy of the night. No interviews needed. You must bring your own camera, lenses and lighting suitable for an indoor evening event. Please share a link to previous event reels when you make an offer. Payment on delivery of the final edit.

**Sydney Hostel Promoter – Casual Nightlife Work** We’re looking for an outgoing and reliable backpacker to help promote an upcoming Sydney nightclub event. The role involves travelling to selected hostels around the Sydney CBD, Haymarket, Kings Cross, Potts Point and Bondi. You will speak with hostel reception teams, ask permission to display event flyers and distribute complimentary drink cards to guests aged 18 and over. **What you’ll be doing:** * Visiting a supplied list of Sydney hostels * Asking reception or management for permission before promoting * Displaying flyers on approved noticeboards * Leaving drink cards with reception and eligible guests * Speaking confidently with backpackers about the event * Taking a photo at each location as proof of completion * Recording the name of each hostel and the outcome of the visit **Who we’re looking for:** * Friendly, confident and comfortable approaching new people * Familiar with Sydney’s backpacker and nightlife scene * Reliable and able to complete the supplied route independently * Aged 18 or over * Fluent or confident in spoken English * Available during hostel check-in and social hours * Previous promotions, hospitality or sales experience is helpful but not essential Flyers, drink cards, event information and the hostel route will be supplied. Approximately 4 hours of casual work, with the opportunity for additional nightclub promotion work if you perform well. **Pay:** A$30 per hour, plus various nightclub benefits. Hosting a Halloween party … need an assistant to help welcome guests, clear cups, cheese boards, guide ppl to toilets, answer buzzer, set out plates for pizza etc, and generally be a helping hand for the event. Does not include set up / pack down just a friendly helping hand at a fun party so I (the host) can be present and spend time with the guests and not be running about. My party starts around 5pm (yes that’s early but ppl have kids etc) and finishes by 10pm this gig is from 4pm till about 8:30pm. Happy to arrange hourly rate or whatever suits main thing is a helpful and friendly personality.

We are looking for a videographer/content creator to film our carpet installation for an upcoming movie premiere event. We are an event flooring company and will be installing the event carpet for the premiere. The full carpet installation will take approximately 3 hours, and we would like someone to capture the installation process from start to finish, as well as the completed setup. The job will include: Filming our team during the approximately 3-hour carpet installation Capturing key moments throughout the installation process Filming the completed carpet and final event setup Editing the footage into an approximately 30 - 40 -second Instagram Reel in vertical 9:16 format Adding suitable music, transitions and effects where appropriate Providing the final edited video ready for posting on Instagram Providing us with all original/raw footage from the shoot We are looking for someone with experience in event videography and creating high-quality social media content, particularly Instagram Reels. Looking for an experienced event planner to help my sister and me organise our mum’s 60th birthday on 26 or 27 September in Sydney. Preferably someone based in sydney as they are familiar with the venues We only have a couple of weeks and need help pulling everything together quickly — particularly finding and securing a venue, cake, music/entertainment, styling and any other important details. We’re considering either a beautiful beach/waterfront venue or an intimate dining venue with a great atmosphere, music and a small space for dancing.
