Event Ops & Outreach Support – B2B Tech Events (Sydney-based) We’re a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up running a series of in-person breakfast workshops in Brisbane and Melbourne, and we’re looking for a hands-on Event Ops & Outreach Support person to help execute these events end-to-end. This will start as a project-based role supporting 4 events over the next 2 months, with strong potential for ongoing work if it’s a good fit. You’ll work closely alongside me (Chief Revenue Officer) ideally from our Sydney CBD office. What you’ll be doing - Supporting end-to-end execution of B2B breakfast events - Calling and emailing invitees to drive attendance - Writing short, clear follow-up emails (templates provided, but some copy tweaks required) - Managing RSVPs and attendee lists in HubSpot - Liaising directly with venues (catering, AV, logistics) - Helping prepare event materials and support on the day This is a hands-on execution role, not an event strategy role. What we’re looking for - Experience supporting B2B events (tech experience is a plus) - Comfortable making cold calls and follow-ups Some experience writing or adapting short outreach copy (emails, invites, follow-ups) - Organised, reliable, and confident liaising with venues and suppliers - Happy executing against a clear brief, with room to suggest improvements Logistics - Location: Sydney-based (office in Sydney CBD) - Time commitment: between. 2–8 hours per week - Duration: Initial 2-month project, with repeat engagement likely - Rate: $30-50/hour (based on experience) - Hours: Australian business hours How to respond (important) - When you apply, please include: - Your experience supporting B2B events - Your experience making cold calls or outreach - Any experience writing or adapting outreach copy - Your availability over the next 2 months - Confirmation that you’re Sydney-based and available to work from our CBD office Applications that don’t address the points above may not be considered.
