I am seeking an experienced technician, engineer, or electronics hobbyist to design and/or build a custom hand-operated throttle control for a 2024 CFMOTO UForce 600 UTV. Due to mobility issues, I cannot use the factory foot pedal very well. The Technical Challenge: The UTV uses a 6-wire, dual-output Hall Effect sensor. A standard 3-wire conversion will trigger 'Limp Mode.' The system requires: Redundant signals (0.5V–4.5V range). IP67/IP68S rating for farm use. A robust, industrial-grade thumbwheel (e.g., OTTO HTW or APEM TW series). Scope of Work (Flexible): Complete Build: Source components, build a pigtail harness for the factory connector, and ensure ECU integration. Design Only: Provide a detailed schematic and parts list that I can hand to my local auto-electrician. What I Have: I have identified suitable industrial parts. I have a spare factory pedal assembly for connector matching/testing. Who You Are: You must have a background in industrial automation or custom vehicle electronics. Please do not apply if you only perform standard automotive work; this requires expertise in dual-channel sensor logic and electronic safety. Please outline your experience with similar systems and your proposed approach. I am happy to discuss an hourly rate or a fixed project fee.

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/handyman to build a set of portable (non-fixed) outdoor timber steps to provide safe access to a deck. This is for my husband, who has had a stroke, so safety, stability and ease of use are very important. Requirements: * 5 steps to reach deck height (~100cm) * Each step approx. 20cm rise and 30cm depth * Width: approx. 90cm * Handrails required on both sides * Handrails to extend beyond the top step onto the deck for support * Non-slip treads required on all steps * Must be free-standing / not fixed (rental property) * Stable enough not to shift when in use * Suitable for outdoor/weatherproof use Important notes: * Will be placed across a driveway, so must be sturdy but movable if needed * Open to design suggestions to maximise safety (e.g. wider base, grip feet, weight distribution) * Must be safe for someone with mobility and balance challenges Additional details: * Please include materials + labour in your quote * Preference for someone with experience — photos of similar work appreciated ** Open to suggestions such as modular steps, wider treads, or additional stability features.
