Location: Point Cook, Melbourne (Single Story) Budget: $1,000 (Targeting labor-only or small owner-operator) Scope of Work: Supply (unless otherwise negotiated) and install 10 x Cat6 Data Points in a single-story residential home. All cables are to be terminated at a central 42U Open-Frame Server Rack onto a 24-port patch panel (provided by me). Point Distribution: 5 x Points: Same room as the data cabinet. 3 x Points: Located in rooms. 2 x Points: Access Point (AP) locations at wall height in central hallways/living areas. Technical Requirements: Compliance: Must be an ACMA-registered cabler and provide a TCA1 Compliance Certificate upon completion. Termination: Standard T568A or T568B (must be consistent throughout). Labeling: All wall plates must be clearly labeled to match the corresponding numbered port on the patch panel. Testing: All runs must be continuity tested to ensure Gigabit speeds. Site Conditions: Single-story house with clear manhole access. The server rack is open-frame and positioned for easy rear access. Working area will be cleared and ready for the installer.
